For parents

The AI app built for parents who say no to the rest.

Dhee is voice-first AI Socratic tutoring for Class 3–7 children — built in Bengaluru with the safety standards Indian parents actually want. No ads. No tracking. No selling of data. 15 minutes a day.

Five lines we will never cross

No advertising — ever

No ads in app. No partner ads. No profiling for advertising. Section 9(3) of the DPDP Act prohibits ads to children, and we go further — we don't even build the infrastructure that would allow it.

Audio is never stored

Speech is transcribed in real time and the audio is destroyed immediately. Not on device. Not in the cloud. Not anywhere.

No social features

Children can't message, friend, follow, or chat with anyone. The only conversation is with Spark.

No data sold or shared for marketing

We don't sell, rent, or trade personal data — to anyone, ever. Sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy and bound by contracts.

No tracking across other apps or sites

No advertising IDs. No cross-app tracking. No third-party tracking pixels on the website or app.

No biometric or location data

No facial recognition, voiceprints, location, or health data. Minimal child identifiers — first name, grade, board.

DPDP-compliant. India-first.

Dhee is built to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — the first comprehensive children's data law in the country. All primary data stores live in India (GCP Mumbai). Parental consent is recorded and revocable. Right-to-erasure is honoured within 30 days.

Common questions from parents

What does Dhee do with my child's voice? +

Audio is processed in real time and discarded immediately after transcription. We never store a single audio clip — not on the device, not in the cloud, not for training. Indian-accent speech recognition runs on servers in Mumbai (asia-south1) and short fallback clips are sent under contractual safeguards (no training, no retention).

Are there any ads in the app? +

No. Zero. Dhee will never show your child an advertisement — not in-app, not via push, not through a partner. We don't profile children for ads. We don't sell or share data for advertising. This is a hard line.

What happens to session photos? +

Photos uploaded during a session (e.g. a handwritten worksheet) are deleted within 24 hours. They are stored briefly on Google Cloud Storage in Mumbai, never used for training, and never shared.

Can my child message other children? +

Never. Dhee has no chat, no messaging, no friends list, no leaderboard with strangers. The only conversation is between your child and Spark.

Who at Dhee can see my child's session? +

No employee directly views live session interactions. Aggregated, anonymised data may be reviewed for safety and quality improvement only. Strict access controls and confidentiality apply to all engineering staff.

What is the parental consent process? +

When you create your child's profile, we present a clear, plain-language consent screen describing what we collect, why, and the rights you retain. Your action to proceed is recorded as verifiable consent under Section 9 of the DPDP Act, 2023. You can withdraw at any time and we delete the child's data within 30 days.

Can I see what Dhee is teaching? +

Yes. The Parent tab shows session transcripts, mastery progress, and a Cognitive Portrait of how your child is thinking. Full transparency.
