The 2027 board exams
- Class 10 has two board exams. The main exam is in February–March and every student takes it. The second exam, in May, is optional and is for improving your marks in up to three subjects.
- Each theory paper is 80 marks, plus 20 marks of internal assessment. You need 33% in each part to pass.
- About half of each paper tests how you apply ideas: case studies, source-based and Assertion–Reason questions.
- CBSE has not released the 2027 date sheet yet. We will add the dates here when it does.
